Log Splitting Service

One service that has become very popular with our customers is our Log (round) Splitting Service.

What makes Miniskid4hire.com different is that we use two Splitter Attachments to process rounds to smaller usable sizes without having to touch or pick them up. Horizontal and vertical table splitters require rounds to be rolled and moved up on to the splitter. Alternately we bring the splitter attachment with our Zahn Mini to the rounds. Our process of grabbing, splitting and dropping is hands free by machine only. We therefore can handle larger heavy rounds without the danger of moving them out from piles or getting too close to them as they split,

Its fast and efficient.

Round Requirements & Things to Know.

We do not split rounds with larger in lengths then 24"
We do not split rounds that average over 32" inches in diameter ( we may do a few around that size but most must be under around 24" diameter or under.
We do not try to compete with log splitting factories on price. We are a convience and we come to you.
We may avoid splitting thick divides or rotted rounds.
We don't split rounds with our attachments under 10" in diameter (too small to target properly. (Can be split with our small electric splitter)
We do not cut logs shorter with chainsaws (for insurance reasons) No Bucking
We first split using a 30 Ton single blade to create 1/2's 1/4's (sometimes that's all our customers want)
We then split the 1/4's to 1/8's with our 25 Ton 4 Way Blade to help speed up the process.
We can split approximately 1 Face Cord per 2 hrs - this is an approximation different types of wood can be more difficult. (Hard , Soft, Dry)
We try not to split on customers prized grass because the movement of the machine can tear up grass in a 10 ft. circle. We avoid mud after rains.
