Professional Stump Grinding With Optional Cleanup

Sometimes a bigger grinder is not always the best choice.  When grinding average size stumps hidden in those hard to reach spots a lighter more maneuverable tracked grinder like our Toro STX-38 grinder is key.  This tracked machine grinds very fast with green teeth and makes sense when the Big Rayco is overkill.

When we price stumps we typically will come out to see them 1st hand or we will request multiple pictures that clearly demonstrate scale and surroundings.  Every grinding situation is different and grinding often can be challenging work so we don't price this service hourly like our others.  When sizing a stump please keep in mind we must grind a minimum of 3-4 inches below surface grade to create a new area for grass root regrowth.  This means that all the roots need to be chased and eliminated The grind area expands the deeper we go.

Beyond size, access, obstacles tree type cleanup and ground conditions factor in as well.  Very little is standard.

We give our customers choice if they want us to cleanup the  area and chips left over from grinding.  They can select to clean themselves to get the lowest price or have us place the chips in their garden beds or inside their perimeter woods.  If relocating  on the property is not an option we do offer haul away service typically 2nd day at an additional fee.  For this service we use our mini skid & dump trailer together and we dispose debris at a local yard.
